Windsurf Simulator is a free 3D browser game that teaches the real mechanics of windsurfing — not an arcade game. You control the same levers a real windsurfer has, and the board responds the way a real one would.

What you actually control:

• Sail trim — sheet to the apparent wind; too far out and it luffs, too far in and it stalls
• Steering with NO rudder — you rake the mast to move the sail's centre of effort
• The no-go zone — you can't sail straight into the wind, or you get stuck "in irons"
• Balance — lean against the sail's pull, or get catapulted; too little power and you fall in backwards
• Planing — reach the speed/power threshold and the board skims on top of the water
• Tacking & gybing, gusts and wind shifts
